I was robbed!! He was very welcome saying “come brother sit and eat” with a friendly tone. You feel welcomed but Little did I know about his conniving intentions. After eating two plates of the unflavored food, I wasn’t even close to be full. The buffet had only about 10 options so there was no choice but to eat the same flavor over and over again. The flavor was not exciting and the food was not fresh. The check came and I was shock! The bill came out to be $14.99 per person but with the tax it came out to be $16 but then he put the tip by himself without giving me an option. The total came out to be $18.60 per person. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
MoreThis is one of those hidden gems you always hear about but always regret never experiencing. Well, I’m telling you now, it’s time. The interior has artwork and memorabilia wall-to-wall, and the staff is great! If you get a chance, try out their buffet. It’s affordable and a great way to try out different dishes. Even if you don’t come during buffet hours, I highly recommend it. The baba ganoush is incredible as well.
MoreLike I said in my other post the food was delicious the aromatic of the spices what I just walk into thank you to the staff and the kooks
MoreThe service is fantastic. The food is great. The ambiance is wonderful with the Persian music and scores of photos of life in Iran.
MoreMy favorite restaurant to eat at when I'm in KC. Great service, food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very inviting! You have to try the Persian ice cream!
MoreNice people the food is just NOT what i eat
Best Kabob in town! Excellent Service! Food is always consistent! Coming here for last 11 years.
MoreFood was great and the displayed pictures are fantastic. You can get a good taste of ancient and recent Persian history by just looking at them.
MoreI tried this place based on reviews. I must say the food was delicious and fresh. Service was great. Staff is very polite. The theme of the whole ambiance is Persian. The seating area is a bit crowded. If you love Persian food, you must try this place. Overall, highly recommended.
MoreFantastic lunch buffet. One of the best middle Eastern/Mediterranean places in the metro.
MoreKabobs were nice and some other items from their buffet. Try at least once...
outstanding food and customer service!
I liked the atmosphere of a small family owned restaurant. The buffet was good and had a good variety of dishes to try. Owner was very friendly.
MoreMy family and I came from out of town and found this amazing gem. We were immediately greeted and shown around the buffet. Everything was absolutely wonderful, beautifully seasoned. Their house made naan is the highlight of the meal, along side their curries and kabobs. This is a great place to try some authentic Persian cuisine.
MoreThe best buffet in Kansas City. Amazing Persian food!
Like a Persian Man Cave w enough beautiful tapestries and fascinating wall hangings and photos to quietly captivate your significant other's attention while you immerse your manful appetite in the immense, savory piles of kabob meats that are the buffet. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with a very cool, old world mystique. The owner and staff knows their customers and quickly befriend newcomers with politeness and deference. A charming place, as solid as a Persian Arch.
MoreCozy little place. Delicious food! The buffet had everything you would want. Staff took great care of us. This was our first time and we will DEFINITELY be going back.
MorePERSIAN DELICIOUS!!! Fantastic buffet options. 3 different types of rice. Crackers and pudding for dessert. Varying sauces and meats. They even have lamb as part of the buffet!! Great use of spices and plenty of options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!♥️♥️ They even offer baklavas and bottled glass sodas. For dessert, you have the option to purchase individual ice cream. Overall, $10 lunch buffet, DEFINITELY RETURNING!!🎊🎊🌮🌯🍱👨🍳😋🥘
MoreFood was okay specially beef kabab. I thought it was $15 per person for dinner buffet. However, what they didn't mention is that there is 15% mandatory tips. I didn't know till today that you pay tips in buffet setting where nobody serves you. When I asked them about the tips, they tried to use their so called lower price as a reason for doing that! You learn something new everyday...
MoreThey have very good food and the staff is very friendly.
It's okay. Some time amazing other time the food just test okay. I hope this place will be better .
MoreUnique. Delicious. Different. Great quality food. I ate at the Lunch Buffet and was not disappointed. The selection was decent, but not vast. The food was kept at a good temperature and nothing seemed to have been left out too long. I nearly tried everything. For a place that labels themselves as "Persian", it seemed the selection of "Persian" food available on the buffet was minimal. It seemed the selection of foods was more so an assortment of Indian/Mediterranean. There was some offerings that were unique however. Some sauces and dishes, were completely new to me. The Saffron rice didn't have much flavor. Also some of the rice was a bit hard, but nothing unbearable. Great customer service here as well, the owner is kind and engages with customers. Pro Tips: Try the "Persian" Ice Cream made with Rose Water. Also, eat some of the Pickled Vegetables at the end of the buffet with your other buffet pickings.
MoreFood was a bit mild and Americanized. Head chef told me to try this and that, and kept asking how I liked it in a quest for validation. It was annoying. But I'm guessing it comes from a deep pride for what he's prepared.
MoreThey have a tasty Persian style buffet. The rice and curry are particularly interesting and worth trying.
MoreGreat food and great people! Our family has lunch here every Saturday! We love this place.
MoreThe food was amazing, and the staff was all so welcoming and helpful. If you have ever enjoyed falafel, then I can't recommend this place enough. Their kebabs are really good. I will absolutely be going back.
MoreWonderful Persian food! Tastes just like my best friends' mothers used to make! Affordable and delicious! Wonderful, friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend!
MoreSome of the best food I have had in a long time.
Google always asks the question, "how was your visit." The answer at this restaurant is always outstanding. In place for around 15 years I believe, this Persian restaurant is delicious. It offers a buffet for lunch during the week and for dinner on the weekends. I am often asked by friends if the food there is spicy. No, it is not, just flavorful and delicious. Their wait staff is also very attentive even when the buffet is being served!
MoreThey rob people when it's time to pay for the food. They add 15 percent tip to the total without letting you know. We were 4 people and the bill they gave us was 96$ when its 14.99 per person. When you go talk to them about, they tell you not to come back again. That's how they treat you. Save your money and go some place good. These people are insane.
MoreFood was amazing and the owner was incredibly kind.
Food was amazing!!!! This spot too eat was soooooo good !!!! A guy at work had told me about it and I kept putting off going finally decide to go it was a shock at how delicious it was ! I had never tried food from that part of the world! Persian food is sooo good and their bread yum ! You have to eat there !
MoreNicely decorated. The food is okay. A place to try some Persian tastes in Kansas.
MoreSaturday lunch buffet was $15. 50 and it did not include a mango drink or hot tea like many of the other Indian buffets around town do. Most of the food was boring and lacked creativity or any spice. The waitress was very nice but she didn't actually know the price of the buffet when I asked. It has beautiful Decor. But it's a quite small Buffet.
MoreIt was a thumbs up. Want a great place for true curry this is it. We had the buffet which came with lamb curry chicken curry 3 different rices just a wonderful blend of authentic flavors.
MoreThe service was awesome. I had some takeout which was part of the buffet. The saffron rice and chicken kabob were the best part of the meal.
MoreIt was a nice place and the food was good.
Food 8/10Price 10/10Parking 10/10Atmosphere 9/10Service 10/10
Tried everything and liked everything. Will be bringing the kids next time.
If I could I would give them below zero ratings. Owner needs to seek mental treatment asap. If you complain about being ripped off he will scream at you and tell you you're band. Shame there isn't a real persian restaurant in Kansas for people to taste the real deal. Get a life Hamid!
MoreNice place for eating. Love that.
Next closest thing to a homemade sumptuous meal. Get their buffet.
Service is so bad dnt go there they will rob you. Was Bad Experience.
MoreIGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! If Persian food isn’t your thing fine but alot of the bad reviews seemed down right personal. Family and I all had lunch buffet, never had Persian food before and EVERYTHING was delicious. Great food and VERY helpful, friendly employees. Will definitely be back.
MoreNice owner, I didn’t like the buffet. It’s was clean fairly and Some foods were good. I may try it again.
MoreThis place has several amazing aspects that keeps me and my family coming back. Amazing, delicious, and plentiful selection of food. Best falafel, kebab (chicken and beef), baba ghanoush, and ice cream we have had.
MoreThis place has good Mediterranean food. Its a little restaurant with a lot of pictures on the wall relevant to the culture of the food. The workers are nice and there is a good selection of dishes. While i was there we saw a lot of people coming in for big catering orders. We came just in time because 30 minutes after arriving it was packed with big parties and they just kept cranking out fresh food. Would recommend to anyone familiar with the food and to people who want to try something new. The green curry, chicken kabobs and falafels (when fresh) are my favorite.
MoreMediterranean food. Grilled meats. Some vegan options lentils, hummus , falafel. All you can eat buffet style. This is a dive..nothing fancy but friendly staff and good food.
MoreThe buffet at this place is amazing and delicious! If you can manage to save room for dessert, there's Persian ice cream too. And you may be lucky enough to get a live performance of some Persian songs :-)
